DeGazon Music Studios began in 1995. Rachel DeGazon, the founder, taught with the York Region Board of Education. At that time, she found that the demand for excellent and convenient daytime music lessons among her students was growing rapidly! Anthony DeGazon began by assisting Rachel throughout the beginning stages and joined DeGazon Music Studios full time in 2005.
Rachel DeGazon has an Honors Bachelor of Music Education and Performance as well as a Bachelor of Education.
Anthony DeGazon has an Honours Bachelor of Science, a Masters of Theological Studies and an MBA. He also has background experience in and working with young children and teens.
Today Rachel and Anthony DeGazon have collaborated to build DeGazon Music and to share their passion for music and dance with students and families in a number of communities across the GTA. Starting from our first location in Vaughan (Kleinburg), the school of music is also now serving the South Mississauga communities of Lorne Park, Clarkson, and Port Credit.
We offer lessons for youth, adults and children in a fun, positive and encouraging learning environment. Our experienced instructors teach piano, guitar, voice, ukulele, banjo, bass, saxophone, flute, violin and drum lessons. DeGazon Music Studios also offers dance lessons for adults, children, and youth. Dance lessons, including Intro to Dance (a dance appreciation class for children and pre-teens), as well as Adult Beginner Tap, are all taught in a stress-free and social environment at the Mississauga studio.
